ASHFALL — RISE FROM IT
A city renamed its rubbish bags from fallen to overcome.
Kagoshima lives under Sakurajima, where ash is not an event but the
forecast. In 1985 the city began handing out free bags for the fallout and
called them 降灰袋, fallen-ash bags. In 1991 it
changed one character. 克灰袋: ash-overcoming bags.
ASHFALL is built on that one character.
官給 ISSUED 001 is unreleased: three garments,
one ink. The artwork is finished and not shown.
